**Richmond Hill**

Our client, an established and friendly law firm located north of Toronto, is adding to its team.

They are in need of a **litigation legal assistant** to support predominantly two law clerks in a civil/commercial litigation practice.
- Maintains an efficient and organized file management system
- Produces correspondence and documents both independently and from dictation
- Processes billing and invoicing
- Assists in management of practice including opening files, arranging meetings, scheduling hearing dates, communicating with clients, etc.
- Communicates with clients, court personnel, and service providers
- Performs general office and clerical duties
- Other duties as assigned
- A certificate/diploma in an accredited Law Clerk/Legal Administration/Paralegal Program is preferred but is not a requirement.
- A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Litigation Assistant in a Litigation practice
- Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with One-key, Justice Services Online and CaseLines is an asset, but training will be provided

This firm offers a friendly, congenial team environment. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits offered after 3 months probation.
