Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Melville School of Business is one of the largest undergraduate business schools in Western Canada—consisting of over 250 business faculty, 3,500 full-time students, and 9,000 students annually enrolled in one of the 22 available program options.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Human Resources Management Department (HRMT) is seeking one part-time (50%) faculty member to begin May 1, 2023. This part-time position will instruct 4 courses per year. We are seeking faculty colleagues who are able to teach in the following areas:

- Human Relations & Intercultural Fluency
- Health & Safety
- Employment Law
- Total Rewards
- Learning & Development
- Labour Relations
- Organizational Development & Leadership
- Strategic Human Resources Management
- HR Consulting
- Human Resources Information Systems & Data

Whether our students are developing their organizational management skills, looking for formal education for career development, or are transitioning to a human resources or management role, the KPU HRMT programs prepare learners to address the challenges of human resources management in today’s organizations.

The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) BC & Yukon has set a foundation for HR excellence within Canada and internationally. KPU offers an applied-learning approach based on their professional competency framework.

Both our Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, and our Post-Baccalaureate Diploma program prepare students to work in the human resources management profession and quickly advance their careers to the management level. We are focused on preparing existing and future HR professionals to think strategically and add value to business operations and their outcomes. Our graduates are the link between business management and HR expertise, working with people to implement strategic and operational decisions based on business and human resource best practices.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education: Master’s degree (completed or demonstrated progress)
- Certification: CPHR or equivalent designation
- Professional Experience: 8 years of HR industry experience with 2 years at the organizational impact level
