**Summary**
Assist foreman with pole inspection and treatment, pole restoration, and other utility field crew service.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard had, safety vest, work boots, etc.)
- Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility poles.
- Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison, to fellow employees.
- Operate company vehicle - 4x4, and side-by-side vehicles (if applicable and qualified). Travelling to and working in a variety of settings, from urban to remote
- Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman and following the guidelines and instructions from your supervisors and/or managers.

**Education and/or Experience**
No prior experience or training.
**Language Skills**
Ability to read a limited number of two
- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
**Mathematical Skills**
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
**Reasoning Ability**
- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
**Computer Skills**
None.
**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**
Prior to operating a vehicle, must successfully complete the Osmose Driver Qualification Program. In addition, to be eligible to operate any company vehicle, the employee must possess a valid driver's license.
**Other Qualifications**
Must possess flexibility in being willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various job locations when necessary. Must maintain a consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday. Must comply with the Osmose Policy for a Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace.
