**Title**: Regional Primary Care Manager
**Salary**: $94,623 - $111,321 - $128,020 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full time - 37.5 hours per week

**About the role**
This position is responsible for the collaborative establishment, coordination and implementation of primary care development, services, supports and initiatives with northern First Nations communities. Under the direction of the Regional Director, in alignment with the regional health and wellness plan and guidance from community project governance committees, the Regional Manager, Primary Care helps to further develop, implement and coordinate the north region FNHA Primary Care ++ model and integration with the Mobile Support Teams through providing support to the Joint Project Board initiatives. The Primary Care Manager provides representation and engagement on behalf of the region with the northern Primary Care Committee, Regional Health Authority and community Health Leads and internal FNHA departments. Additionally, the position supports primary care and integrated health planning/development, navigation, monitoring, tracking and reporting along with coaching and mentoring of health and wellness staff and relevant stakeholders. The position oversees and provides people management to the Primary Care team.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Bachelors’ degree in nursing
- Eight (8) years or more related experience, including a previous leadership role, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Relevant professional development/certification in areas of process improvement, virtual health care and change management
- Recent, relevant and significant experience (usually acquired over a period of 3-5 years) in a health care environment with a primary care or acute care planning, delivery, project management, strategic planning and community and stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with First Nations communities or organizations including political leadership.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
