Opportunity

AIMCo's Legal Services department has an opportunity for a first
- or second-year law student. We are a small team of in-house professionals who believe on-the-job training is an effective way to contribute to educating the next generation in the changing world. The student will assist the Legal Services team in the execution of assigned tasks based on the individual's experience and educational background.

**Responsibilities**:

- Legal research and drafting of legal memoranda
- Assisting with investment transactions
- Reviewing and updating minute books and corporate records
- General contract review
- Supporting members of the Legal Services Department in responding to various internal client requests
- Completion of first
- or second-year law at a Canadian University
- Must be returning to full time academic studies in Fall 2024
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organization and problem-solving abilities
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Thrives under pressure and enjoys contributing to team goals and collaborating

Success Measures:
Success at the end of your term will be determined by the undertaking and completion of specified daily tasks while collaborating alongside the team, sharing your ideas, contributing to several ongoing projects, and assisting the department with implementing and improving process efficiencies.
