Safehaven serves individuals with disabilities and their families, through respite and residential programs at our Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Woodbridge, and Aurora facilities, as well as client homes.

**Role Summary**:
The **Lead Admin **role will be a very diverse role within Safehaven. This role will lead all administrative functions to ensure their completion and management. The Lead Admin will work with the Director of Operations and Performance Excellence to provide support and assistance to such as scheduling, calendars, meeting coordination, minutes/agendas, and general project objectives coordination.

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule meetings including and not limited to interviews, team meetings, individual 1:1’s, etc.
- Provide Administrative support where required to support the team, this can include the following:

- Ordering Supplies
- Inventory Management
- Coordinating external Vendors
- Provide general administrative support to leadership where required, including Finance, Human Resources, Quality and Safety, Special Projects, Client Operations, and general Operations.
- Work with the Director to provide support to Special Projects within Safehaven, which include:

- Project Management and Meeting Coordination
- Serving as the Main Point of Contact for the Project Assigned
- Supporting the strategic objectives, timelines and budgets for the project(s) assigned
- Working with external and internal stakeholders for Project Coordination
- Create and manage agendas, project workflow, project timelines and other operational coordination.
- Provide any support possible to front-line staff who are caring for clients and their families.
- Any other responsibilities required.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree;
- Must have at least 5 years of experience working in an administrative capacity with a proven ability to work in a face-paced environment.
- Must be able to handle complex scheduling with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Must have good knowledge on PowerPoint, Excel, and be able to create ad hoc report
- Must be able to work well under pressure

- Experience working with multiple competing priorities.
- Experience working within a health care organization or setting.
- Understanding of use of technology and systems, willingness to learn new systems to be applied to work.
- Ability to communicate with others in an effective and professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leads self and demonstrates willingness to learn and accept responsibility.
- Six Sigma Lean Certification and/or Project Management Certification
