Position Summary: OH&S and Compliance Assistant is responsible for assisting the OH&S Compliance Manager with day to day duties. This includes reporting, water sampling, chemical tracking, and ensuring safety & environmental compliance at our 3 locations.

A Bachelor's Degree and/or related experience in chemical engineering or wastewater technician is an asset.

This job position requires travel between Enviro Containers & Recycling's three locations, Regina, Innisfail, and Red Deer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the Environmental Management System and ensure compliance with the applicable best practices and regulations.
- Manage the data collections, storage of related receiving documents and waste material.
- Act as an internal resource and coordinator for materials.
- Continuously improve methods of documenting and reporting material data in order to optimize all aspects of the supply chain.
- Conduct physical or virtual inventory audits to identify and report discrepancies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in an environmental field preferred
- Previous experience in an environmental field or company an asset
- Must be willing to travel between locations
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work well within a fast-paced environment
- Needs to be able to make independent decisions and have a team player attitude
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important
