**Job Summary**:
Chef Cos Catering is looking for a Events Coordinator to oversee and manage event operations at our Event Venues. As we handle all aspects of event management for these venues, the Events Coordinator will play a central role in engaging clients, providing quotes, guiding event planning, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth event execution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering memorable experiences through diverse events, including weddings, corporate functions, bridal and baby showers, and senior events.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Engagement and Coordination**
- Respond promptly to event inquiries and provide professional, accurate quotes to prospective clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their event needs and ensure their vision aligns with venue capabilities.
- Assist clients through the booking and planning process, effectively closing sales by addressing questions and building strong relationships.
**Event Planning and Execution**
- Manage event timelines and coordinate logistics, ensuring all setup, service, and teardown details are in place.
- Oversee event day operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and guests.
**Vendor Relations and Coordination**
- Coordinate with external vendors for services such as catering, decorations, and entertainment.
- Negotiate agreements and confirm vendor details to ensure quality services and cost-effectiveness.
**Marketing and Client Outreach**
- Actively promote venue services through client engagement and maintain relationships with potential leads.
- Support marketing efforts by developing promotional content and assisting with materials related to venue events.
**Administrative and Other Duties**
- Keep accurate records of inquiries, quotes, contracts, and event details.
- Prepare budgets for events, balancing client expectations with cost considerations.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly reports on inquiries and upcoming schedules.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Flexibility to work weekends once in a while as event schedules require.
- While having access to a vehicle is not a requirement for this position, it would be considered an asset.
Pay: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
