**The Opportunity**

As the Manager, Creative Services you will make high-level creative decisions while overseeing the development of creative assets such as advertisements, promos and other videos, individual creative assets or logos for products, events, and other uses, and translate the client/project brief for the creative team. You will be responsible for the strategic allocation of our creative resources - including graphic designers, copywriters, editors, producers, and other creative professionals - to various projects, ensuring efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your ability to manage, optimize workflows, and foster a collaborative environment will contribute significantly to our success.

**What you will bring to TVO**
- **Strategic Creative Guidance and Feedback**: Translating client and project briefs into creative language, ensuring the assets produced meet and exceed expectations, and ensuring that the internal team delivers concepts, designs, and copy that meet the stated objectives. Provide feedback on designs to your team as part of the overall approval flow. Be hands-on and contribute to the creative process as needed. Act as a custodian for TVO brands.
- **Resource Allocation and Scheduling**: Assign creative staff to projects based on their skills, experience, and availability. Adjust and manage schedules to ensure that your team is on track, asks the right questions, and has the information needed to deliver their assigned projects with a high standard of quality, on time.
- **Workflow Optimization**: Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to achieve efficient workflow and on-time delivery of projects.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Act as the central communication hub between creative services, marketing, and other internal departments. Facilitate project status meetings and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Initiate, lead, and actively partake in conversations surrounding the needs of the internal clients.
- **Talent Management**: Lead and manage a team of designers and other creative professionals, recognizing and developing their skills, strengths, productivity, and areas for improvement.
- **Budget and Resource Planning**: Manage creative services budgets and plan for future creative resource needs based on workload forecasts and project requirements.
- **Quality Control**: Work closely with marketing and other departments to ensure that the creative output aligns with TVO’s standards and exceeds expectations.

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years' experience in an agency, in-house studio, or similar role / environment with a background in design or copywriting.
- Experience managing, developing, and motivating a team.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience in creative design, resource management and/or a similar role within an advertising agency or creative environment.
