Parts Coordinator

**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Design Documentation Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Design Support Team that manages approved tank configurations and maintains part number and bill of material integrity. Your role involves managing approved tank configurations, maintaining part number integrity, and upholding design standards. You'll oversee the Engineered-To-Order (ETO) tank configurations within our IFS ERP system, ensuring accurate implementation.
Your expertise in part catalog standards will aid the operations team with part inquiries, new product launches, stock obsolescence, and bill of material refinement. Collaborating with Design and Engineering, you'll establish and manage technical documentation links for master parts to ensure access to the latest data.
The position qualifies for a hybrid remote work schedule.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Part Management**
- Establish and document IFS ERP system standards for part configuration and setup.
- Maintain precise part configurations in IFS.
- Ensure thorough vetting and approval of new parts before IFS entry.
- Assist operations, design, and product engineering with part queries and configuration reviews.
- Conduct audits of IFS part data to ensure data integrity.
**Parts Catalogue**
- Support maintenance of the approved parts catalogue
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to create and manage technical documentation links for master catalogue parts, ensuring clarity and access to the latest data.
**ETO Tank Configuration**
- Manage new ETO tank requests and direct necessary support inquiries to relevant departments.
- Ensure accurate entry of ETO tank BOMs into IFS.
- Coordinate with other departments to guarantee precise entry of ETO tanks.
**Inventory Analysis**
- Oversee obsolete stock in coordination with planning.
- Evaluate part usage and suggest streamlining of part inventory.
- Utilize part consumption data to recommend suitable inventory levels for tank components.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Journey Parts Person, Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
- Strong database skills with prior experience with enterprise software and an understanding of standard work processes.
