**General Summary**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for tracking and tracing customer orders, inbound freight, assist customs broker, review any discrepancies and verify daily exception reports.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Track and resolve problem customer shipments.
- Communicate to internal and external client’s transportation issues and resolve them when necessary.
- Organize transport for all product released from warehouses (Calgary and London)
- Process damage / loss claims with carriers as required
- Coordinate product returns and all associated documentation with both warehouses
- Prioritize daily tasks and identify urgent issues and deal with them as needed.
- Act as liaison between customs broker and purchasing regarding import customs documentation.
- Provide inbound log to appropriate departments.
- Work in cooperation with purchasing, accounting and sales departments to ensure a smooth product flow
- Work with customer service to resolve customer complaints regarding late or damaged shipments
- Produce and maintain listings of preferred carriers for use by shipping locations
- Produce required documentation for outbound product returns
- Coordinate the transport of goods to trade shows and special events
- Provide a professional and responsive demeanor to our customers.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, experience managing projects and freight expertise on both the import and export side would be definite assets.
- Post Secondary education with a business focus with 1-2 years solid administrative experience.
- Excellent computer, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
