**Overview**:
The Food Truck Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the truck, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Their duties include motivating staff, creating business strategies, managing inventory, finding cost effective ways to perform daily activities, scheduling, and training new staff.

**Objective/Purpose**:
The main objective of management is to secure maximum outputs with minimum efforts and resources. Management is concerned with thinking and utilizing human, material and financial resources in such a manner that would result in best combinations.

**Principal Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring staff are following all Public Health, Food Safety, and COVID-19 protocols
- Ordering and inventory management as well as timely input of all required paperwork.
- Staff scheduling, including staff availability and time off requests
- Training new staff in customer service and cookie making procedures, offering constructive feedback as needed to ensure quality control
- Scouting new locations for the truck to serve cookies all around Toronto
- Creating a positive and inclusive work environment
- Handling onsite customer service issues/equipment issues and communicating with Head Office
- Working as a team with the Accounts Manager and Head office to build our events program with the Food Truck and ensure seamless quality and communication across all locations

**Skills Required**:
Level of Education:

- High School Diploma

**Knowledge / Job Specific Competencies**
- Previous Food Truck Experience is Essential
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Food Industry Experience and/or Previous Management Experience (minimum of 2 years)
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Highly Motivated with the Ability to Work Independently and with a Team
- Personal Qualities
- A positive attitude and an ability to motivate
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to delegate and the ability to prioritize
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Empathy and humanity

**Additional Info**:
Starting Rate of Pay: $26 to start with a potential increase to $28 after a probationary period

Vacation Time: 2 weeks

Location: The Food Truck home base is located out of our 1581 Bayview Ave. bakery

**Salary**: From $26.00 per hour
