**Did you Know**
Knowledge and Information Services (KIS) is a business line within the Information, Data and Analytic Services (IDAS) section of the Corporate Services Department, an internal service department within the Bank’s Corporate Administration function. KIS provides expertise, services, and tools that help Bank staff effectively access, utilize, manage, and share quality information and knowledge to effectively accomplish the Bank’s business goals. K&IS provides research and reference services; management of the Bank of Canada Archives; acquisition, management and training on the use of published data and information resources; advice and solutions on handling corporate records; and delivers support related to Bank’s SharePoint/M365 suite of solutions and services for content management and collaboration.

KIS will be undertaking work related to improving the SharePoint / M365 environment through the introduction of new tools, automation of processes, and refinements to how clients search, collaborate and interact with content. KIS is also leading work focused on cleaning up shared drive content, migrating key content to SharePoint, redesigning content types and permissions, and implementing lifecycle management.

**What you will do**
You will work in close collaboration with other service areas in KIS and Information Technology Services (ITS). You will contribute to designing and implementing SharePoint/M365 solutions that enable clients to collaborate more effectively within teams and across departments, while simultaneously helping them manage and safeguard information according to Bank policy, standards and practices. You will also support organizational change management (OCM) activities focused on equipping support teams, clients and power users to effectively use and support the solution as well as any improvements introduced.

Specifically, you will:

- Lead and/or respond to SharePoint/M365 (e.g. MS Teams) service requests that could include changes to information architecture, permissions, content types and metadata, migration of content and/or advice on how best to use the functionality available.
- Contribute to initiatives to improve solution and services including the introduction of new M365 apps, third party add-ons and automation.
- Support the implementation of electronic records management in SharePoint ensuring the design and implementation factors in records management rules that will be applied through Collabspace, the Bank’s records management system.
- Participate and/or lead, sessions to provide training, coaching or knowledge transfer to equip others to support and/or use SharePoint/M365 improvements being introduced.
- Participate in the development and refinement of processes, procedures and tools targeted to various audiences to facilitate the ongoing maintenance and use of the platform.
- Work within an agile environment, and provide input and guidance on the improvement of agile processes

**What you need to succeed**
You are a team player, self-starter and effective communicator who can work with mínimal supervision and build and maintain relationships in support of client service delivery and operational objectives. You are innovative in your approach to solving problems, have well-develop analytic skills and can synthesize information and make sound recommendations. You can work under pressure, organize tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and standards. You are collaborative by nature and are able to train and coach others and provide constructive feedback. You are able to embrace change and are open to sharing and exploring new ideas and ways of working to achieve the goals for your team. You also have experience with, exposure to or have provided support to SharePoint, enterprise content management solutions and/or other information management tools and systems.
