**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- The Content Specialist is a member of the HSO Standards development team and will work closely with the Senior Program Manager or Program Manager to deliver quality standards. HSO standards are evidence-based criteria and guidelines promoting quality and safety in health and social services. These standards serve as the basis for cutting-edge accreditation programs and robust public policies.
- In this role, the Content Specialist will work independently, while seeking guidance or support when needed, in order to complete their content development deliverables on time and in scope. They will continuously identify and implement efficiencies in team processes, demonstrating valuable skills in managing multiple priorities at once.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Proofs, edits and revises standards content following standards development operating procedures and writing guides.
- Tracks and monitors project milestones, inclusive of coordinating content translation
- Manages content development, organization, storage, and reporting.
- Conducts environmental scanning and synthesis of published literature.
- Coordinates development meetings and presents content to support content development.
- Generates presentations, reports, and briefing notes relative to standards development.

**Must Have Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in healthcare, healthcare policy, healthcare administration or related field
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills, able to manage multiple competing project deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management skills
- Environmental scanning, literature search and content synthesis skills
- Able to take initiative with critical thinking skills, while raising risks and barriers to the Project Manager early and often
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate results.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bilingual in French and English
- Experience in the healthcare sector, clinical quality improvement and patient safety.
- Background in standards development, accreditation or regulation.
