Digital Marketing Coordinator
**Job Description Summary**

Responsible for the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy, product management, data analysis and research strategy for the national marketing team. Manage the optimization and maintenance of existing digital marketing platforms, strategies, and products while facilitating project management alignment across all stakeholders, including, head office, shopping centres, clients and owners. Provide recommendations, reports, and implementation schedules based on internal and external factors to formulate digital plans to achieve long-term goals and progressive omni-channel shopping experiences.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

**Digital Management**
- Ensure property websites are highly functioning including new upgrades and migrations, or identify solutions
- Ensure websites meet accessibility compliance laws and adhere to CW corporate guidelines for social media, digital policies and procedures
- Monitor properties social marketing channels to ensure content design, compliance, and creative relevance; suggest customer engagement improvements
- Keep current with upcoming social media and digital trends. Provide best practice & change information guidance to shopping centre marketing teams on current social and digital media changes to enhance reach and engagement; be a resource, adhering to strategic guidelines and budget requirements
- Assist with digital programs: Digital Directories, KIPSU, WiFi systems, Traffic Counters
- Explore partnerships with mobile and digital companies to determine partnership fit as needed
- Support the transition of properties in & out of the portfolio by managing & tracking digital inventory, develop project management schedules, and coordinate transition needs relative to overall national marketing team
- Be the point of contact for external partners and vendors to communicate directions and needs to devise domain transfers, DNS setup, website development, quotes and costs management

**Digital Performance & Platforms**
- Provide digital platform(s) performance metrics to National Marketing Manager bi-monthly including portfolio performance analysis, trending commentary
- Maintain contract/vendor management and renewals, onboard new vendors, manage RFP process for new vendors if required
- Oversee “What’s-In-Store” (Adeptmind) digital platform performance and adoption; explore feasibility of expansion to other centres and oversee day-to-day needs

**New Platform/Program Research**
- Research cost-effective SEO options, including performance-based advertising tactics and plans to support digital growth

**Data Analytics**
- Evaluate current Emplifi Data platform for continued use or research alternatives
- Centralize Data Analytics: Assist in development of expanded national digital metrics reports and process; regular analysis and recommendations for improved performance

**Market Research**
- Prepare executive research reports as needed using the Environics Analytics (EA) tool
- Attend regular training to maintain knowledge of EA research capabilities
- Liaise with CW Research leads for additional insights and trend data
- Assist Retail Director with new research methodologies and strategic executions as requested

**National Programs**
- Oversee development and execution of national content toolkit strategy with national marketing team and agency to ensure new ideas, campaign performance, and trending tactics are incorporated
- Support national marketing execution of a micro-influencer program to extend audience reach & engagement

**Corporate Communications & Project Management**
- Support development of CW Asset Services LinkedIn strategy with National Marketing Manager including content creation & deployment
- Project management, coordination of meetings, and light administrative duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary degree or diploma with a Marketing, Communications or Business major
- Minimum 3 years direct experience with digital strategy and marketing experience. Shopping centre marketing, performance and growth marketing experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of software packages and programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Emplifi, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads or similar
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced retail environment
- Strategic thinker and proactive

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer
- May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work
- Involves work such as conducting tours throughout the property/portfolio, usually performed by walking and/or climbing stairs
