Agile Coach

What is the opportunity?

The Agile Coach is a change agent and leader working in the delivery office. They coordinate with decision makers, teams, and other parts of the global Wealth Management organization to optimize value delivery, act on risks and impediments, and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. The Agile Coach promotes and models the Lean-Agile mindset and has excellent communication and facilitation skills. They tactfully challenge assumptions and decisions, including those from senior management.

What will you do?
- Agile coach with experience working at the journey (value stream) level and with their teams implementing large-scale enterprise solutions
- Strong business acumen and experience working in regulated industries
- Software and Product development experience as well as experience as a scrum master, project manager, program manager, RTE or other roles
- Experience with agile work management tools such as Jira
- Team player and leader with advanced interpersonal & relationship-building skills
- Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
- Experience training and coaching mid-senior leaders in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets, and how to use Agile metrics for continuous improvement.
- Experience developing ways of working and onboarding that work for the journey but also stays within the guardrails set by the organization.
- Experience assessing change readiness and utilizing change management practices for greater adoption.
- As a member of the Agile Enablement team, provide input into and implement aspects of the transformation roadmap working with other coaches and stakeholders.
- Engage throughout the Wealth Management ecosystem; work with Delivery, Technology, Product leadership, POs and other business stakeholders to improve delivery.
- Develop partnerships with leaders to accelerate the transformation journey, coach Senior Management on agile practices and provide periodic agile training.
- Coach the entire value stream (Journey) to increase maturity - product research and discovery through delivery.
- Influence organizational policies to support agile ways of working

What do you need to succeed?

**Must-have**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applied experience
- 8+ years working in Agile delivery environments; 5+ years of progressive agile coaching experience, or equivalent experience serving as a change agent, helping organizations plan, manage, and implement agile practices.
- Experience executing and implementing Agile practices in large, complex, scaled environments at the Portfolio level

**Nice-to-have**
- Scrum/Kanban certifications, Coaching certifications
- Experience coaching teams to become self-sufficient in PI Planning and other multi-team events like Scrum of Scrums and retrospectives.
- Previous experience as a software developer with the ability to coach technical resources on TDD, pairing and swarming strategies.
- Understanding of technical concepts, such as DevOps, CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), etc.
