Agile Practices Coach, Level 2

**What is the opportunity?**
The Digital Agile Coaching Practice Team has adopted an Agile Methodology centered around a philosophy of continuous improvement, we do this by continually nurturing our squads, and individuals with Agile Coaching. This role will act as one of a team of Coaches who coach our product teams. Each coach typically works on: onboarding new squads into our agile methodology; providing coaching to more mature squads. A strong emphasis on helping squads improve collaboration and adoption of agile principles and practices both at the individual and squad level, and working with other coaches and leadership to overcome impediments.
This role is a senior leadership role in the Omni program. They are a leader who uses impact and influence to help increase the agile competency and execution ability of Omni.

**What will you do?**:

- Knowledge Sharing and Learning_
- stand-up meetings, retrospectives and grooming
- Foster a culture of self-improvement and learning by encouraging developers to leverage their "10%" chapter time for innovationLead and support meetings, practices, and activities that enable lean flow and effective cross-functional behavior in squads
- Agile Leadership
- Stay current in industry trends within the Agile Discipline, and support our senior coaches in ensuring we continue to use the best available tools and techniques to improve our delivery capabilities
- Drive innovation with through meetings and activities (code reviews, demos, meetups, conferences, workshops, training sessions, etc.)
- Evangelize Agile and Omni best practices for all squad members across all squads, and outwards with the broader Digital, and T&O communities
- Support our senior coaches in achieving strategic coaching goals, building and executing coaching initiatives
- Nurture Talent and Culture_
- Model agile values and principles in your interactions with squads and individuals, to help them maintain customer value focus
- Model life-long learning in your own growth as an example for others Relationships and Communications
- Influence Omni Product Owners, and Journey leadership to prioritize technical debt and other key technical deliverables, and process improvements.
- Squad Support_
- Support new and existing squads in following lean/agile principles and practices
- Retrospectives, daily stand-ups, story grooming, pair-programming, mob-programming
- Promote an agile culture and Omni way of working inside of the squads and help the designated scrum master run agile events

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Must Have_
- 5-7 years in a Scrum Master or team coach position, with a positive impact on team level performance
- 8-10 years of experience in organizations practicing agile methods to deliver software
- Nice to Have_
- Experience mentoring other Scrummasters in addressing team level impediments to performance
- Experience writing software, and leading teams writing software
