Here's how a Technology Analyst for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Acts as the first-level technical support for System Administrators and job site technology mobilization and demobilization services including jobsite servers, wired and wireless networks, and various construction technologies
- Configures, monitors, and supports field networks, servers and software
- Maintains technology standards and processes for use by other team staff
- Performs a variety of technical operations duties and maintenance tasks
- Delivers projects under the guidance and direction of team leads and managers
- Tracks technology asset management
- Provides escalation support for jobsite technology mobilization and demobilization services including district and job site servers, wired and wireless networks, and various construction technologies
- Delivers and supports projects and enhancements
- Acts as a liason between other Business Technology teams when creating new technical solutions
- Assists and coaches team members in technical knowledge
- Seeks out issues, problems and opportunities for new solutions

**Qualifications**:

- 2-year post-secondary diploma in an IT-related field.
- 1-2 years experience in related IT field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding and experience with enterprise networking, server management, virtualization, monitoring systems and storage platforms
- Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with employees at all levels/disciplines of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple products and solutions simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and with a geographically dispersed team
- Basic experience with the following technologies will be highly recommended:

- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Dell hardware (servers, storage, laptops and desktops)
- Aruba hardware (switches and APs)
