NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone to join our Institute for Teaching, Learning, and Technology as a permanent full-time Educational Technology Analyst in our Digital Education team.

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Education, the Educational Technology Analyst supports faculty and staff by providing technical expertise in the Learning Management System and web-based learning tools, facilitating professional development opportunities and updating resources, supporting processes and system upgrades.

**HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Provide support and guidance for faculty and staff with a variety of educational technology tools such as Voicethread, PollEverywhere, H5P, etc.
- Consult and collaborate with the Educational Technology Specialists and Educational Developers in requests pertaining to learner experience and course design.
- Consult and collaborate with the Digital Education Team in requests pertaining to user ease, technical components, feasibility, etc.
- Critically assess Moodle courses to flag any areas of concern and notify the appropriate parties with potential recommendations.
- Evaluate and research plugin and educational technology requests to determine value, security, usability, longevity and value of investment.
- Keeping apprised and prepared for new Moodle and Kaltura updates.
- Communicate important information to Moodle and Kaltura users on a regular basis.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging trends in digital learning and use this knowledge to help identify gaps and challenges in educational technology and advocate for appropriate solutions.
- Professional Development and Resources for Faculty and Staff.
- Gain valuable feedback on the value of support and resources and adjusting as needed to meet end user needs.
- Create and update the tip sheets and support documents and resources on the Moodle Help and Mediaspace websites.
- Support the facilitation of Moodle and Kaltura training workshops for faculty and staff.
- Provide support, create and update resources related to other Educational technology tools utilized at the college.
- Support Process and System Upgrades.
- Test Moodle courses during annual Moodle upgrades.
- Deliver workshops and information sessions regarding Ed tech tools upgrades.
- Engage in project work to improve processes and documentation.
- Evaluate user needs, impact, and changes for users.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Diploma in Education technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience working with Learner Management Systems (Moodle is preferred), and web conferencing tools (i.e., Kaltura and/or Microsoft Teams).
- Experience with interactive web tools (i.e., H5P, VoiceThread, Poll Everywhere etc.) is an asset.
- Experience working in post-secondary institution.

**SALARY**: $49,129-$63,854 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
