**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and analyze sales/inventory reports on a daily basis to optimize EC inventory
- Assist in optimizing inventory planning system accurately to automatically allocate each item
- Assist in requesting inventory allocation from warehouse or stores
- Manage product line-up display on the website and APP
- Inventory management: maintain optimal inventory levels for digital commerce channels by closely monitoring stock levels, sales patterns, and trends
- Stock optimization: proactively manage inventory replenishment and transfer to avoid overstock and stockouts, ensuring that products are available to meet customer demand
- Product display management: Ensure accurate and visually appealing product displays on the digital platform, including uploading new items and maintaining up to date stock visibility for customers.
- Demand forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory strategies accordingly; collaborate with the merchandise planning team to ensure that inventory strategies align with overall business objectives and sales forecasts.
- Supply chain coordination: Work closely with warehouses, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory flow, minimizing delays and discrepancies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze regular inventory reports, providing insights and recommendations to optimize stock levels and improve turnover rates.
- System management: Utilize inventory management software to trach and manage stock, ensuring accurate data entry and real-time updates.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks in the inventory supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within inventory control and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with other projects as assigned
**Desired Skills and Experiences**:
- Strong computer skills, data entry/and or data mining experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel (previous experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP required)
- 1-2 years of previous experience with retail or supply chain management or E-commerce experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Quick learner with a high level of ownership, accountability and initiatives
- Logical thinker with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills,
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities at the same time
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the link between inventory control and overall business performance, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Analytical skills: Proficient in analyzing sales data, forecasting demand, and make recommendations based on insights.
- Attention to details: Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in inventory management
