As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for growing the business by delivering volume and net sales value objectives on an annual and monthly basis. Additionally, you will manage and lead all aspects of the sales function for the region and lead and motivate the team while partnering with suppliers and customers.

**Compensation**: $136,000 - $170,000 + Bonus

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the ongoing development and execution of the Sales Strategy in the region.
- As a member of the Leadership Team, contribute to the broader leadership and strategic development of the business.
- Beat the competition, deliver/exceed the annual plan and be the partner of choice for our customers
- Responsible for regional overhead budget and travel and expense budgets
- Build an organization able to meet current and future business challenges through organization development, coaching and capability development
- Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations and deliverables
- Manage relationships and drive collaboration with supplier partners and government agency contacts
- Collaborate with Trade Development on the design, build, and implement programs for the region with ongoing evaluation.
- Maintain high levels of employee engagement and a culture that encompasses the Company Values
- Engage in relationship building activities with buyers and strengthen customer partnerships
- Drive engagement and utilization of selling tools and technology to maximize team performance
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10 years’ experience as a senior sales/business leader with a proven track record of delivering business results.
- Relevant cross-functional business experience (finance, trade marketing, HR etc.)
- Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competitive activity within the industry is a distinct asset
- Strong Sales and Commercial Strategy capabilities ideally with depth in Field Sales, Key Account Management and Customer Management
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent Negotiations and Influencing skills
- Previous experience of working with suppliers and sophisticated retail customers with a track record of building strong partnership to deliver business results
- An authentic and inspiring leader with a track record of leading large teams and developing talent
- Strong financial capability (understands the total P&L in depth)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
