**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the SCWI Manager, the Client Support Coordinator, School College Work Initiative is responsible for all print and digital content related to recruitment, programming, student engagement and retention. This includes the creation and implementation of a strategic marketing plan, which adheres to our branding and SCWI policies.

**Responsibilities**:
**Content Creation & Management**
- Leads and coordinates all communication, print and digital, for the SCWI Office.
- Coordinates, develops, and posts content for social media channels in accordance with the social media strategy and content-based calendar.
- Creates, edits, and provides speaking notes for all mixed-media presentations (PowerPoint, Adobe Spark videos) for all SCWI events including, but not limited to, Information Sessions, Orientation, Year End Celebrations.
- Edits and creates content for SCWI websites including course information, student testimonials, FAQs, photos, etc.

**Communications & Customer Service**
- Monitors and responds to social media inquiries from students, parents/guardians, and school boards with 24 hours and generates discussion as needed.
- Works with Dual Credit Team members and other Seneca departments to answers inquiries and reroute individuals if appropriate.
- Flags any potential concerns to the Dual Credit Coordinator and/or SCWI Manager.
- Assist with Call Campaigns focusing on current student outreach and support.

**Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Measurement**
- Develop strategies to raise awareness of SCWI’s programming within Seneca, school board partners, and prospective students.
- Creates new procedures and best practices for marketing and communication, oversees implementation and use.
- Stays abreast of new social media channels and marketing initiatives and makes recommendations to the SCWI Manager if new approaches are needed. Use social media monitoring tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Hootsuite) to monitor and report metrics on a regular basis.
- Liaise with Seneca’s Social Media and Media Relations Team for support, guidance, and training.

**Special Events**
- Create all communication pieces related to SCWI Activities and special events (i.e. Financial Literacy, FCAD Day, Mature Student Visits, etc.) including, but not limited to, promotion materials, PowerPoints, videos, and feedback surveys.
- Attend and provide social media coverage and take photos of all SCWI events for marketing purposes.
- Support in the planning, logistics, and presentations of all of SCWI events.

**Other Duties as Assigned**
- Support the Dual Credit Coordinator and SCWI Manager with special projects.
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Attend special events on evening and weekends as needed.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree in** **Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field. If you education is in another field of study, please state how it is related.

Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations is required.
- Experience within an educational institution, familiar with transitional programming is required.
- Experience creating, writing, and editing various forms of print and digital marketing content.
- Social media experience in a corporate or educational environment including metric reporting (i.e. Google Analytics, Hootsuite) and strategic planning.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation software.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in social media channels: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.
- Photography, video, and graphic design experience (Adobe Photoshop).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with multi-cultural/racial/able students, staff, and school board partners.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are crucial.

**Note**:

- A Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required due to travel with this position.
