We’re looking for an** Implementation Specialist **with a strong understanding of financial operations and practices to join our team and contribute to our next stage of growth. As an Implementation Specialist, your top priority is to support our customers in system migration while fostering strong and trusted relationships. You are an advisor who seeks to understand and define problems. You will be responsible for proactively supporting our customers for a range of scenarios including implementing Traction Rec, configuring Salesforce, analyzing requirements, solutioning, training customers, and developing data quality strategies to meet their business needs.

For this role, your expertise in financial operations will be crucial to supporting our customers’ use of our accounting subledger. You will also play a vital role in providing best practices to the team as well as offering guidance and support in training customer accounting teams. This position is ideal for an individual with a background in finance who is interested in transitioning to the SaaS industry, leveraging their financial knowledge to contribute to our software implementation initiatives.

By combining your implementation expertise with financial proficiency, you will play a vital role in driving customer success, ensuring seamless system integration, and maximizing the value our solutions provide.

**Skills**

Traction Rec'rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:
Accounting and Financial Expertise
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and process or equivalent training/experience.
- Ability to address challenges and communicate effectively with client accounting and finance teams, including Controllers and CFOs
- Experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in donor, membership and program management, an asset.
- Technical acumen to translate business requirements into functional design

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet skills, including formulas, data cleansing, and data manipulation
- Ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate them across different systems
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and custom development is a plus
- Salesforce Certifications are a definite asset
- Expertise in solution architecture on Salesforce NPSP and other Nonprofit Cloud offerings is beneficial
- Experience in user training or rolling out new technology to end users is valued.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build trust remotely as well as in-person
- Effective independent time management and prioritization

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Work with the client to understand their current business issues and pain points
- Gather and document requirements to support business solution design results
- Guide clients and internal team on accounting reporting and process best practices
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices for Nonprofit Cloud offerings
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage Traction Rec, the Salesforce platforms and associated products
- Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality
- Declarative Salesforce configuration to support client requirements
- Robust training and enablement for customers on Salesforce and Traction Rec functionality to help them build their own capabilities
- Follow and understand new Salesforce product and technical capabilities
- Work with the client to build out their CRM strategy and roadmap, enabling both quick wins and longer-term strategic goals
- Collaborating with internal support team to assist
