The Tech Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation and support of Pelmorex IT Infrastructure to standardize, modernize and automate infrastructure management, providing strategic coordination as well as tactical governance. The role involves designing solutions in line with the organization's strategic goals and technology roadmap, working collaboratively with other tech leads and Infrastructure administrators.

**WHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?**
- Lead the design and implementation of Pelmorex infrastructure core systems (k8, VM Clusters, CICD, Clouds environment) including Network security, automation and monitoring
- Provide technical advice or technical leadership where required to support various IT related projects
- Design Infrastructure solutions for high availability, scalability, resiliency, integrity and security
- Review existing systems & platforms and recommend changes and improvements to take advantage of best of breed technology solutions
- Research and keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to ensure technology sustainability;
- Quality assurance and documentation of the Pelmorex infrastructure architecture
- Document and hand over systems and process to the IT Operations team for support
- Act as a 3rd level support escalation;Ensure that IT Infrastructure systems meet, and endeavour to exceed, the agreed Service Levels
- Be proactive in looking for opportunities on how IT can improve its Service Delivery
- Projects delivered on time, on budget and to required quality (stakeholder expectations);Provide after-hours support when and if required
- Other duties as reasonably required.

**WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as information technology, computer science, or management information systems 5+ Years of experience in working in a 24/7 IT environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Docker, Kubernetes cluster design, implementation and management on the following infrastructures (VMware, AWS, GCP, AZURE and ORACLE)Excellent knowledge in cloud computing GCP, AWS, Azure and OCI
- Excellent knowledge in managing k8 infrastructure.
- Experience in Complex IT Environments (Network, System and Storage )Excellent technical skills ( Linux & Windows, Scripting, terraform)
- Excellent team leadership
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Excellent Problem-solving skills Familiarity with systems monitoring, log aggregation, and dashboard solutions (e.g., ELK, Splunk, Prometheus)Experience with promoting a DevOps culture and introducing it to new teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing skills, and attention to detail when communicating
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently produce results within timelines
- Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Demonstrated a strong experience in the management of a technical team Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and Service deliverables
