**Position Summary**

Under the supervision of the Education Manager, the Workshop Field Coordinator is an integral member of the Schluter®-Systems Education Team. He / She is primarily responsible for on-site coordination of instructor-led workshops and tradeshow events.

**Workshop responsibilities**
- Coordinates and executes workshop set-up tasks with assistance from local Schluter staff
- Coordinates shipments of training materials and equipment to and from the workshop venue
- Prepares thin-set during the workshop / events
- Participates in live product demonstrations
- Assists attendees with hands-on activities
- Leads dismantling and clean up at workshop conclusion
- Maintains tools and workstations as required

**Tradeshow responsibilities**
- On-site coordination during the set up and dismantling phases of the tradeshow exhibit
- Supervision and assistance of the locally hired trade show labor team
- On-site support during the tradeshow event
- Organization and preparation of material and equipment shipments as needed

The employee will be expected to acquire a thorough knowledge of the company's products, their installation methods, and the policies applicable to the position

**Qualifications and required skills**
- Be comfortable working in both a team environment and unsupervised
- Be capable of taking ownership and adept at problem solving
- Be able to represent Schluter®-Systems in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- Possess a valid passport and driver’s license
- Be eligible to rent and operate a 20’ transport truck
- Comfortable working with power tools
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office

NOTE: This position requires frequent travel throughout North America. Knowledge of the tile and/or construction industry and spoken French are considered assets.
