**About the Opportunity**
Joining our commercial team means being part of something special. As a valued member, you'll be entrusted with managing an established commercial portfolio and driving its growth through enhancing existing coverage and acquiring new clients. Your role will involve not only engaging with our clients but also igniting opportunities for additional lines of business like home insurance and Autopac. And, of course, at the heart of it all is our unwavering commitment to building and nurturing strong customer relationships. **Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and enhance relationships with a diverse range of commercial insurance clients, spanning small to medium-sized businesses.
- Drive the growth of our commercial portfolio by identifying upselling opportunities and attracting new clients.
- Personally oversee the collection of payments for your managed book of business, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
- Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about industry trends, new products, legislative changes, and technological advancements, continually elevating your expertise and performance.
- Seize opportunities to showcase and advocate for other Avant products and services, amplifying our holistic offerings to clients.
- Uphold the standards of integrity and professionalism, adhering to the insurance code of conduct set forth by the Insurance Council of Manitoba.
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service, embodying Avant's core value of prioritizing people over profits in every interaction and circumstance.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience handling a commercial insurance book of business
- Willing to work independently and with a team
- Multilingualism an asset
- Level 2 Insurance license is required
