Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

**The opportunity**

We are currently looking to fill 1 Part-Time General Maintenance/Repair worker in Edmonton, AB.

Conducts general repair and maintenance for client homes in northeast Edmonton. General responsibilities include repair tasks that are not complex enough to require the specialized training of a licensed tradesperson.

**Responsibilities**:

- Minor Repair and Maintenance including purchasing materials for all required tasks; such as drywall patch/repair, window repair and replacement;
- Window and Door Repairs including frames, replacement, and locks;
- Furniture assembly;
- Minor plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and sinks;
- Repairs and installations of flooring and baseboardsepairs/installs flooring;
- Perform routine/preventative maintenance on all required elements;
- Identify next steps for jobs including when it is beyond scope and requires a trade or certified trade;
- Maintain records of all work performed;
- Meet with program staff prior to executing tasks to estimate any associated costs;
- Mounting picture frames, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, paper towel dispensers.
- Other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience required
- Valid drivers license with access to a vehicle
