Our Newfoundland and Labrador Operations are an integrated mining, milling, and processing operation. Nickel concentrate from the fly-in, fly-out Voisey’s Bay operation is shipped to our state-of-art Long Harbour Processing Plant where it is refined into low-carbon and high-purity nickel rounds, cobalt rounds and copper cathodes.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Maintenance Coordinator **to join our team in the Maintenance Department in **Long Harbour, NL. **This is a full-time permanent position, with a rotation of 7 days on and 7 days off.

The Maintenance Coordinator is the main interface point between Production and Maintenance in the off-shifts and lead all Maintenance Shop activity during regular day shifts. This position is responsible to lead mechanical and/or E&I

technical personnel and to ensure the proper operation of plant equipment and processes.

In this position, you will:

- Execute all approved maintenance work orders in accordance with maintenance procedures with respect to work methods, resource requirements, materials, and established scheduling deadlines and ensure that all executed work packages are in accordance with established safety policies and procedures;
- Utilize established Work Management systems to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of work and the system to continuously improve work procedures;
- Assign work in compliance with daily and weekly schedules and deviate for urgent work only as prescribed within the framework of established maintenance policies and procedures;
- Work closely with Area Maintenance Planners to ensure that work methods detailed in planned work packages maximize safety and efficiency while minimizing cost;
- Directly supervise and assign work to maintenance, and ensure that all work is carried out effectively and efficiently, on time, and on budget and in compliance with all safety policies and procedures and that all work is of the highest quality;
- Manage emergency and breakdown situations independently, drawing on external resources as required;
- Ensure that all maintenance documentation is maintained and that all changes in documentation are reflected in the CMMS through liaison with Area Maintenance Planners;
- Collaborate with Maintenance Engineering, Technical Services, and Operations on capital and maintenance projects to perform all such work efficiently with mínimal disruption to production operations;
- Ensure that all work is completed through established Management of Change policies and procedures;

**About You**

**Education**
- Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson, Technician or Technologist Certification;
- CET considered an asset;
- Post-secondary education within a related field will also be considered;
**Experience & Skills**
- 5+ years’ experience with hands-on technical maintenance work and/or supervision in a complex industrial environment preferred;
- Experience working with industrial cleaning services and waste management an asset;
- Experience with SAP an asset;
- Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance work planning activities an asset;
- Excellent organization, communication (written and oral), as well as interpersonal skills;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Able to build and maintain strong positive relationships across multiple work groups;
