Maintenance Planner
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Long Harbour, NL. As a critical part of our maintenance engineering and reliability system, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facility.
About the Role
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
- Monitor and analyze maintenance reports, work orders, and history to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all work packages are completed safely and efficiently
- Track work package estimates against actual values to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Provide guidance and instruction to Material Coordinators on requisitioning parts, following up with procurement, and preparing job kits for planned jobs
- Attend and contribute to weekly business routines, including pre-scheduled meetings and priority setting meetings
- Contribute to Maintenance Shutdown planning strategies, identifying and prioritizing future maintenance requirements
About You
- Post-secondary education in Engineering studies
- Minimum 3 years' relevant planning experience, with industrial and/or operating environment an asset
- Supervisory experience considered an asset
- Proficient in SAP and MS suite
- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
