We are currently looking to fill in the following position: Career Counselor/ IT Recruiter

**Responsibilities**:

- Make connections and maintain relationships with potential employers on behalf of Montreal College
- Offer career counseling and advising through a variety of formats including drop-in interactions, individual appointments, and presentations/workshops.
- Address and follow through on inquiries from employers, alumni, and students
- Improve student preparedness for job search activities
- Plan and implement career events for students
- Collaborate with members on campus and off campus community to understand career development and workplace needs
- Extract data and gather information for reporting outcomes.
- Update and maintain student, alumni, and employer information database.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in IT recruitment
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and a strong ability to relate with a diverse community of students and corporate partners.
- Demonstrated experience managing a strong network of contacts
- Strong knowledge of the Information Technology labor market
- Effective computer skills and knowledge in data collection and analysis
- Experience in using social media platforms for promotional and educational purposes
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Bilingual (English and French)

**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year
