The Opportunity
We are looking for an intellectually curious, enthusiastic and forward-thinking career development professional with a passion for talent management. We take care to build competent teams, where each person is called upon to excel and where everyone can make things happen. We want to offer our employees innovative approaches to guide and advise them during their career with us. By joining our HR team, you will help KPMG support innovation, collaboration and facilitate cross-functionality between our expertise through our new internal mobility program.
You will report to the HR & Strategy Employee Experience Manager in Quebec. You will draw on your previous experience and organizational knowledge to develop the processes, methodology and execute our new coaching and career support program. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our HR team in Quebec, the leaders of our business units, but most importantly act as a direct advisor to our employees
**What you will do
- Your mandate will be to build the program and define the approach of our new career coaching service for the Quebec region.
- You will be the strategic point of contact for our employees, and your mandate will include aligning their personal and professional interests with the firm's opportunities and network.
- You will document the processes and methodology that you will implement to support our employees in achieving their career goals.
- You will be called upon to participate in the various projects underlying the internal mobility program; including the coordination of career events, or the creation of relevant educational content.
- In addition to acting as an ambassador and spokesperson for all things career development, you will be called upon to collaborate with various stakeholders, including the HR team and leadership.
- You will also need to have a good understanding of our business model, acquire a thorough knowledge of our corporate culture, our different functions in Quebec and master the different programs available to ensure a flawless strategic and operational alignment.
**What you bring to the role
- 7+ years of experience in an HR position with a strong focus on skills development, or career development in a fast-paced competitive environment (consulting services is an asset).
- Demonstrated relevant experience. Or coaching certification, guidance counselor diploma an asset.
- You have skills in a consulting mindset and are known for your ability to bring new initiatives to life.
- A strong influencer and persuasive communicator, you are comfortable dealing with a variety of niche specialty teams and with employees at various levels, including senior management.
- You have a keen interest in improving and optimizing processes without limiting your creativity; and you have a natural interest in integrating technology into your work to accelerate efficiency.
- You have experience working in a matrix organization and you are familiar with the particularities of this type of structure.
- Bilingualism required.
