**Location**:
Musselwhite Site.

**Purpose**:
The Musselwhite Mine Metallurgy department is currently seeking a student for a 8-12 month work term who want to gain on-site mine and milling experience through a work term placement.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Metallurgy department has operational and research opportunities focusing on optimization projects for unit operations such as: Crushing, Grinding, Gravity, Leaching, Carbon-in-pulp (CIP), Elution and Water Recycle. The projects will expose you to different areas of gold production including, but not limited to: safety management, project management, process automation, metallurgical test work, data analysis and processing, engineering design, etc.

**Other responsibilities of the Metallurgy Student include, but are not limited to**:

- Learning the milling process from the production floor
- Executing required metallurgical test work
- Computation of daily/monthly mill production reports

**Requirements**:

- Preference is given to students with at least 2 years completed in a Chemical Engineering Technologist or Chemical Engineering Program
- Previous experience in a production environment is an asset
- Organized
- Flexible with day-to-day tasks
- Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Working Conditions**:
**The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day**
