**What you'll do**
The Legal, Risk & Compliance Executive Assistant will provide administrative and organizational support to the Legal, Risk & Compliance departments and specifically, to the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and Chief Risk Officer at CTB.
- Coordinate all administrative aspects, including dynamic calendar management, meeting setup (A/V equipment and catering, etc), guest pickups, expense reports, travel arrangements, improvement of filing systems, and ordering of supplies to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively
- Support the contract management process and Board and Committee meetings as required
- Process legal documents and ensure proper documentation and file management
- Assist with various corporate secretarial matters such as regulatory filings, annual returns and security filings, new director orientation, Responsible Persons and Related Party compliance, provincial Business Name renewals, extra provincial registrations, restricted insurance agents licenses, etc.
- Assist with various risk management and compliance administrative duties, such as assistance with risk and compliance documents, risk issues tracking and reporting.
- Act as the key point of contact for several external professional firms and government offices, providing reliable and timely resolution to inquiries and/or redirect as needed
- Assist with team budgets including processing invoices, tracking to budget, preparing monthly legal accruals and proactively bringing forecasted variances to the attention of management
- Onboard new employees
- Plan and co-ordinate team events and department meetings
- Other related duties as required
**What you bring**
- Strong administrative background, with a high degree of professionalism
- 3-5 years of administrative experience preferred
- The ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong focus on accuracy and a high attention to detail
- Superior time management skills to balance multiple assignments from across the legal and risk teams
