Position**:Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative**
Reports to: VP Sales

**Summary**

Acts as primary customer contact for pre
- and post-sales activities related to the purchase of standard and custom-designed pre-fabricated architectural metal products, primarily transit and bicycle shelters, kiosks and signage.

**Essential job functions**
- Learn customer needs to recommend best product or service
- Prepares and submits written quotations using standard or modified quote templates, including technical specifications, delivery, and warranty terms (MS Word or Excel)
- Promotes positive image with customers about our products and services
- Handles product supply, service, installation and all parts inquiries
- Keeps record of incoming inquiries and actions requested or taken
- Keeps the quote register up-to-date
- Enters orders in our ERP order processing system (Industrios)
- Expedites orders
- Coordinates orders including shipping and installation schedules
- Initiates invoicing with accounting department
- Handles change order requests
- Complies with current pricing guidelines as determined by VP Sales, Sales Manager or President
- Works with colleagues to identify best solution for client or resolve customer complaints
- Interacts with accounting department to sort out billing issues
- Participate in weekly sales department meetings
- Performs related clerical work including quote and invoice filing, preparing and sending transmittal letters, contract correspondence, sales order confirmations and warranty agreements
- Review contracts and purchase orders
- Able to multi-task and work with constantly changing priorities
- Able to meet critical deadlines
- Familiarity with custom metal manufacturing processes
- Professional telephone manner
- Sense of urgency
- Abide by company policies and procedures
- Perform all related duties or special projects as determined by management

**Minimum qualifications**
- 3 years related customer service experience
- Previous experience with custom manufacturing, such as architectural or construction products, sign or metal fabrication, or technical products
- Past experience with computer-based tools (such as Excel, Word, ERP)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable with basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, markups)
- Able to read architectural or construction plans and technical specifications
- Independent, yet able to work well as part of a team
- Communicate with ease in English (both written and spoken)
- Able to work legally in Canada

**Educational requirements and/or training**
- Community college graduate (preferred)
- Sales or customer service training (preferred)
- Familiarity with technical products

**Environmental and/or physical requirements**

Able to work in an office environment and use computer extensively. Able to walk around our factory and discuss technical issues with our staff. Able to reach around work site to take measurements. Able to lift 30 lbs.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Inside sales: 3 years (required)
- Manufacturing: 3 years (required)

- Driving Licence (required)
