**Job Summary**:
The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to build and strengthen customer relationships, provide excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts. This position focuses equally on both prospecting new business and maintaining & servicing existing customers. Inside Sales Representatives are instrumental in helping to achieve growth and expansion of our company.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Prospecting clients to evaluate their scrap metal management program and to demonstrate the features and benefits our services provide.
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with current and potential customers
- Identifying sales gaps and business opportunities to increase sales volume and market share.
- Conducting weekly and monthly routine reporting to the sales team
- Maintain and update database with new and existing customer information and lead opportunities.
- Develop sales plans that identify potential customers, recognize underperforming accounts, and increase overall profitability.
- Updating and analyzing sales data and business results to create strategic growth plans.
- Effectively use sales tools and programs to achieve established key performance metrics.
- Developing and entering quotes and orders in the sales system in response to customer requirements
- Assist sales team in generating quotes, reports and information for customers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- In field training required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attentive and active telephone skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong organizational approach with ability to prioritize.
- Customer-focused and pro-active problem-solving approach.
- Knowledgeable and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude and self-motivated.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Be able to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
