**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing and Enrolment the Strategic Enrolment Analyst will be responsible for internal enrolment reporting, preparing key ministry enrolment reports and assisting with analysis of activities related to and supporting the Strategic Enrolment Plan.

The Strategic Enrolment Analyst will analyze and interpret various data to support college decision making on student recruitment, enrolment, retention and success. The incumbent designs and carries out data collection, analysis and interpretation and works with college and provincial databases to query, extract and present data as required. The Strategic Enrolment Analyst provides primary data support to college enrolment planning and produces reports showing trends and analysis for college management decision-making.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Compiling, preparing, auditing, reporting and verifying Enrolment Activity for funding purposes:

- Works to prepare reports for ministry mandated requirements, including, but not limited to, College Student Enrolment Reports (CSER), Graduate Record reports, IRCC DLI verification, Second Career reporting etc.
- Implements the enrolment guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Investigates and resolves process anomalies.
- Collaborates with IT staff on new or changed reporting requirements that involve changes to Banner Enrolment reports.
- Maintains ongoing liaison with Registration and academic departments to ensure compliance with enrolment guidelines and fee policies.
- In consultation with the Registrar determines eligible student activity for inclusion in the audit report.
- Creates, organizes and maintains accurate and timely official electronic and hard copy records for all student activity eligible for funding.
- Conducts audit checks to ensure eligibility of activity for funding purposes.
- Certifies enrolment information is accurate and correct for funding and Ministry reporting purposes.
- Ensures year-end Audit Report, supporting schedules and working papers meet the requirements of the College External Auditors.

Providing Decision-Support Analysis and Internal Reporting for College business units:
- Key business units include Strategic Enrolment, Marketing and Communications, Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness, Institutional Research, Finance, Indigenous, Human Resources, Office of the President, and the Board of Governors
- Provide reliable information and expertise in support of college strategic planning, evaluation and environmental scanning. Design and carry out analyses or effectiveness studies as required.
- Provide analysis for decision-support around recruitment, admissions, conversion and retention, including advising on waitlisting decisions.
- Tap primary data sources, including historical enrolment and admissions data, KPI data and trends to support decision-making.
- Produce quantitative and qualitative reports showing analysis of trends and areas for improvement for college management.
