Executive Assistant for Restaurant Owner/Manager
**Responsibilities**:
Calendar and Schedule Management:
Manage the owner/manager's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
Coordinate and prioritize appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Remind the owner/manager of upcoming events and deadlines.
Communication and Correspondence:
Serve as a liaison between the owner/manager and various internal and external stakeholders.
Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations.
Administrative Support:
Assist with document preparation, including typing, formatting, and editing.
Maintain and update important files, records, and databases.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Meeting and Event Coordination:
Organize meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and logistics coordination.
Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
Coordinate and plan special events, including staff meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities.
Travel and Accommodation Arrangements:
Make travel arrangements for the owner/manager, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
Prepare itineraries and ensure all travel-related details are communicated effectively.
Process expense reports and reconcile travel-related expenses.
Operational Support:
Assist with restaurant operations by coordinating with various departments, such as finance, human resources, and marketing.
Help with the preparation of reports, budgets, and financial statements.
Conduct research and compile information for special projects or initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
