**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB TITLE: FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR APPROVAL DATE**:

**JOB PURPOSE**:Reporting to the Community Partnerships Manager, the Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the fundraising team for a variety of fundraising activities. The
Fundraising Coordinator supports donor solicitation, stewardship and recognition activities, grant coordination, customer service, data management, generating fundraising reports, submitting compliance reports, and participating in events and speaking engagements to support fundraising and awareness opportunities.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS**

- Technical capabilities with fundraising database management software and various internet research tools and previous database experience
- Salesforce or previous CRM experience an asset

- Ability to take accountability for assigned tasks, problem-solve, and make independent decisions
- Experience working in a not-for-profit environment preferred
- Capable of working cooperatively in a team environment as well as independently
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative

**Donor Relationships ** Responsible for acknowledging gifts from individual donors and foundations
**and ** Ensures donor acknowledgments are accurate and completed with a quick turn around
**Acknowledgments**: Provides donors with excellent customer experience and care.
- Works with Community Partnerships Manager to order and send sponsorship and lions fellowship and membership materials, including invoices to donors in a timely manner.
- Respond to donor inquiries and provides information about LFCDG as required.
**Grant Coordination**: As overseen by the Community Partnerships Manager, coordinates the solicitation,
**_30% of the time _** stewardship, and reporting requirements for fundraising grants including:
- Researching, identifying, and tracking potential funders in the Grant Connect database and other potential sources.
- Writing and submitting grant proposals to identified parties according to set deadlines.
- Preparing and sending grant acknowledgments to donors in a timely fashion, including coordinating with communications around social media platforms
- Completing grant reports within provided deadlines, tracking all requirements and ensuring all colleagues are made aware as needed

**Event Coordination ** Coordinates Oakville Bingo program including and organizing volunteer coverage.
**_10% of the time _** Conducts tours of the facility as required.
- Represents Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides at a variety of events and speaking engagements.
**Database ** Provides donor and mailing reports to various team members as requested and required.
**Management**: Records and reports on monthly grants and Oakville Bingo revenue and provides input into the
**_15% of the time_ **annual budget
- Ensures the fundraising databases (for both LFCDG and Lions) are accurate and current by inputting all information into the CRM and changes as they are received including mailing preferences, address details, and required financial information.
