Saskatchewan Blue Cross®, one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, is currently recruiting for a full-time permanent _Team Lead, Corporate Services_ _& Facilities_ to join our team in the Corporate Services & Facilities department. This position offers the flexibility to be in-office or participate in hybrid options in our Saskatoon office.
**JOB FUNCTION**
Reporting to the Director, Risk Management & Corporate Services, the Team Lead, Corporate Services & Facilities is responsible for leading the day-to-day operational needs of the Corporate Services & Facilities Department, ensuring the achievement of departmental and individual goals, projects, and objectives. The position is responsible for implementing and maintaining procedural guidelines and standards for the work completed within the department, and for the purchase of standard office supplies and company marketing materials. This position oversees the work of direct reports, including the performance management and coaching, and supporting the Director by participating in the hiring, selection, and onboarding processes.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee and coordinate the day to day operational delivery of services through scheduling, overtime management, assigning and coordinating workflow to ensure work volumes are handled in accordance with quality standards and service levels and department operations are efficient and productive
- Monitor, maintain and provide ongoing evaluation of the delivery standards
- Work in consultation with the Director, Risk Management & Corporate Services to ensure resourcing, quality standards and service levels are aligned with corporate objectives
- Support the development of the department budget in collaboration with the Director, Risk Management & Corporate Services
- Identify and work across departments to continuously improve and streamline processes to ensure operational effectiveness
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational business priorities
- Conduct inventory counts and review order history to determine stock requirements
- Coordinate with other departments to assess organizational requirements of materials and review potential changes
- Recommend purchase quantities to department leads
- Order standard office supplies and paper products
- Negotiate contracts for orders and deliveries with vendors, supplies, building materials, maintenance, etc., as it relates to Corporate Services
- Provide training to staff on policies, procedures and workflow priorities
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, skill development, and performance management of direct reports
- Foster a positive work environment, motivate and encourage a supportive response to change in others
- Oversee the Facilities Coordinator with building maintenance, organizing trades, staff requests, event planning/set up
- Participate in training for facilities procedures
- Recommend and implement strategies to ensure timely completion Facilities projects
- Liaison between the organization and the facilities coordinator
- Plan, design, and budget building layout for best use scenarios that maximize efficiencies
- Recommend, plan, and aid the execution facility projects, space-plan changes, and staff/equipment relocations and returns
- Monitor building and print service equipment
- Ensure adherence to strict confidentially guidelines
- Other related projects and duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Completion of a two-year Diploma or Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required
- 5 to 7 years of related experience in Facilities, property management, or building operations
- Previous leadership experience would be considered an asset
- Experience with shipping (courier services, postal services) and purchasing
- Familiarity with and adherence to Saskatchewan Employment Legislation
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 3
