**Medical Administration/ Ophthalmic Technician**
- Responsibilities:_

*Reception duties such as greeting patients, register patients, booking appointments and answering phones, preparing and distributing surgical documents.
*Use appointment and patient file software (Accuro) and other available tools to make accurate/clear notes regarding patient eye health, and accurate transcription of medical reports (dictation)*Assist the Physician with in office procedures and any other tasks as per required by the Clinical Director and/or Physician
- Skills Qualifications:_

*Excellent communication skills, must be professional and maintain confidentiality
*Must have the ability to adapt to variety of patient types and be comfortable working in close contact with patients (especially elderly)
*Patience, approachability and calm demeanor
*Ability to manage patient expectations and concerns
*Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
*Adapt well to a high paced office, manage personal stress
*Team-oriented and collaborative, demonstrate a willingness to learn
*Familiar with computers and with an ability to learn new software and/or programs

Work Remotely
- No

**Salary**: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
