**About the role**: The Outside Field Sales Specialist creates positive relationships with customers/clients to allow for growth and success across all divisions; Rentals, Septic & Plumbing. Working closely with an assigned Customer Service Specialist, they are responsible for communicating with existing clients in person and via phone calls to serve their needs and generate interest from potential new clients based on a geographical territory. Additional responsibilities include assisting the rentals division with pick up, deliveries and servicing if required. This person must be extremely driven to grow business as well as themselves.

**Responsibilities**:

- Visit potential and existing customer locations and perform quality inspections as required
- Develop service opportunities from existing clients
- Work with Sales Manager to process customer quotes and bid proposals
- Perform sales calls to potential new customers, and past customers who no longer use our services
- Follow up regularly on prospective opportunities until closed
- Promote King’s products or services by actively listening to customer concerns, providing guidance on our services to suit their needs
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize clients' requests to ensure that inquiries are solved in a timely manner
- Work and communicate with all departments, so customer needs are appropriately managed

**Requirements & Experience**:

- Minimum of one-year sales service experience required, CRM experience considered an asset
- Passion for sales and personal growth
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage your time
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills combined with keen attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent phone etiquette, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office or custom databases
- Driver’s license and ability to provide a clean driving abstract
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work (no bus routes)
