**Job Summary**: Reporting to the Deputy Provost, the Manager of the Student Learning Centre (CLC) leads a team, as well as collaborating with other units, that support students in their academic development.

- Strong program management and analytical skills
- Ability to provide effective guidance and mentorship while setting clear expectations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with effectively University personnel
- Comprehensive understanding of student learning experiences, science of learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, and sound pedagogical principles
- An understanding of evidence-informed best practices in teaching and the use of technology to enhance learning.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
- Strong commitment to student success and learner support

**Required Education**:

- Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent is required; Doctorate in a related discipline preferred
- Verification of Academic credentials may be required

**Required Experience**:

- ** **Five to seven years of related experience, including people leadership, in a post-secondary environment
- Experience in program development and assessment/evaluation strategies; experienced in executing strategic priorities
- Experience working with university personnel, including but not limited to faculty/instructors, Deans, and other university administrators
- Post-secondary teaching experience
