Job Summary: Reportingto the Deputy Provost, the Manager of the Student Learning Centre (CLC) leads ateam, as well as collaborating with other units, that support students in theiracademic development.
Nature of work:
Thesuccessful candidate will lead thedevelopment and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for student academicdevelopment and support. They incumbent will also be responsible for the designand implementation of programs and services within the Student Learning Centre(SLC), and collaboration with campus-wide with Faculties and other units.

Strong program management and analytical skills Ability to provide effective guidance and mentorship while setting clear expectations Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work with effectively University personnel Comprehensive understanding of student learning experiences, science of learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, and sound pedagogical principles An understanding of evidence-informed best practices in teaching and the use of technology to enhance learning. Superior communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams. Strong commitment to student success and learner supportRequired Skills:

MinimumMaster’s degree or equivalent is required; Doctorate in a related discipline preferred* Verification of Academic credentials may be required
Required Experience:
Five to seven years of related experience, including people leadership, in a post-secondary environment Experience in program development and assessment/evaluation strategies; experienced in executing strategic priorities Experience working with university personnel, including but not limited to faculty/instructors, Deans, and other university administrators Post-secondary teaching experienceHow to Apply:
