Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure Services and Support, the IT Asset Management Administrator will actively manage hardware and software assets within the organization, oversee software/hardware licences to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, form procurement strategies, and make recommendations for asset management procedures. Duties include but are not limited to administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function, maintain records and databases containing information regarding licences, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software, monitor IT procurement requests, obtain quotations, order products, receive and track inventory, reconcile IT purchases through invoices and the purchase card process and provide guidance and training on available hardware/software to city departments as a resource for planning, streamlining, and standardization. The IT Asset Management Administrator will also contribute to the implementation of the City's new ITIL based IT Service Management (ITSM) Tool with a focus on asset management, procurement tracking and financial components of the solution.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful completion of post-secondary education combined with a minimum of two (2) years of practical industry experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent with numbers, data entry
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge of end user tools including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices
- Proficient knowledge of processes related to procurement and inventory management
- Experience training in a group environment
- Experience working as a team lead / project lead an asset
- Valid class "G" Driver's licence in good standing

**WAGE/SALARY RANGE**: $33.92 to $37.69 per hour (35 hours per week).
