**Who Are We Looking For**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Payroll Administration**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian and US employees using ADP.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and US payroll legislation, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
- Manage and maintain employee payroll records, ensuring data accuracy within ADP systems.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including preparing and distributing T4s and W-2s.
**Benefits Administration**
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and US benefits regulations.
- Reconcile benefits accounts and address discrepancies promptly.
**Employee Support**
- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, benefits, and deductions professionally and efficiently.
- Guide on payroll and benefits-related policies and procedures.
**Collaboration and Process Improvement**
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams to enhance payroll and benefits processes.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes affecting payroll and benefits in Canada and the US and recommend necessary updates.
- Prepare and distribute payroll and benefits reports to stakeholders as required.
**What Do You Need to Succeed?**
To succeed in this role, you should have:
**Education and Certification**:
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is required.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 3+ years in payroll and benefits administration with proven accuracy and compliance.
- Experience with ADP payroll and benefits systems.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- **Payroll Expertise**: Comprehensive understanding of Canadian and US payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- **Benefits Administration**: Skilled in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and compliance.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensures accuracy in all payroll and benefits processes.
- **Organizational Skills**: Manages multiple responsibilities efficiently and meets deadlines.
