The successful applicant will have formal accounting education matched with at least 5 years of experience in a complex accounting environment, preferably Property Management.
- Minimum 5 Years experience in all facets of the full accounting function including AR/AP.
- Recent formal accounting training preferably post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Experience in property management within the accounting department considered and asset.
- Ability to multi-task in a progressive and expanding business.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
- Ability to review and analyze accounting transactions
- Good interpersonal skills.

Software Skills Required:

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Word and Outlook.
- Yardi Voyageur Property Management Software.
- Payworks Payroll Processing Software.

**Job Description**:
This incumbent will work with within the accounting department cross training in all areas of accounting including, but not limited to the following:

- Accounts Payable:

- Entry/coding of AP transactions, cheque runs.
- Analysis of Ap transactions.
- Accounts Receivable:

- Receipting and creating deposits in the Yardi system.
- N1/N4 production.
- Analyzing tenant ledgers.
- Interaction with tenants and property managers.
- General Accounting:

- Bank reconciliations
- GL Analysis of variances.
- Internal invoicing.
- Year End working papers.
- Payroll processing.
- Yearly Budgets

Ad-hoc projects as assigned by Senior Management.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
