Are you an administrative expert with a passion for supporting impactful programs? We’re seeking our next **Administrative Assistant, Pension & Benefits** to join our dynamic Pension and Benefits team. Under the guidance of our Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch support for our faculty and staff pension and benefits programs.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Data Analysis**: Take charge of compiling, analyzing, and safeguarding data accuracy. You will be responsible for timely submissions to insurance providers and accurate reporting to our asset servicing provider.
- **Administrative Support**: Provide comprehensive administrative support to our Director and the talented members of our Pension and Benefits Unit. From crafting materials for employee orientations to drafting essential pension and benefits letters, you’ll be the backbone of our operational success.
- **Financial Reporting**: Manage the pension & benefit budgets, handling invoices, coding, and meticulous expenditure reconciliation. Your expertise keeps our financial gears turning smoothly.
- **Event Coordinator**: Join in coordinating special events, from the annual pension meetings to supporting the Pension and Benefit Committees.
- **Record Keeper**:Manage our Pension and Benefits file system with precision, update caseload files, and handle various correspondence, including disability letters.
- **Adaptive Problem-Solver**:Dive into special projects and adapt quickly to implement necessary changes following negotiations, committee meetings, and compliance shifts.
- **Collaborative Liaison**: Act as a crucial link with external vendors and wellness partners, ensuring seamless coordination for mental wellness sessions and ergonomic assessments.

Position Requirements

**What You’ll Bring to the Position**:

- Successful completion of a certificate in Office Administration; and
- Minimum of five years related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrates initiative, judgment and discretion regarding sensitive and confidential matters and material;
