**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring that company operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards. The Auditor is responsible for conducting audits, assisting departments in achieving top-tier safety and compliance, and promoting a process-oriented culture throughout the organization. The role operates in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, providing effective customer service while adhering to company policies. Although primarily office-based, the position requires frequent travel, sometimes with mínimal notice, to address operational needs and collaborate with multiple departments across Flair Airlines.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Quality Assurance Auditor** **include:

- Conduct internal audits across all functions to ensure the Air Operator complies with regulations and approved manuals under the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) and Air Operator (AOC) Certificates
- Lead and assist with both internal and external audits
- Review, amend, and create audit checklists and reports as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies such as Transport Canada, and external clients/customers
- Document concerns, findings, and non-conformances during audits
- Ensure proper retention and safeguarding of all audit-related documents
- Ensure compliance with audit program requirements
- Analyze the implementation of corrective action plans and assess their effectiveness
- Integrate relevant processes into quality assurance audits
- Maintain and create detailed audit checklists for all functions and elements of approved manuals
- Actively participate in Quality Assurance department meetings and initiatives
- Communicate any discrepancies in compliance, efficiency, or safety to the Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the company

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Certification in Quality ISO 9001 standard (preferred)
- ** Experience**:

- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the aviation industry (preferred)
- A minimum of three (3) years of auditing experience (required)
- Experience in documents and records management in a regulated environment (asset)
- AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) experience (asset)
- Experience with IOSA auditing (asset)
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Extensive knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Commercial Air Service Standards (CASS), Air Passenger Protection Regulations (APPR), and other aviation-related regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
- Effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to travel frequently with mínimal notice
