Job Description

At CNA, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies and processes that ensure the highest level of quality in our IT applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the highest level of quality in our IT applications.
  • Lead the development and implementation of testing frameworks and practices to support functional, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of quality engineering practices into our Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and ensure the development of their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our quality engineering practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership/management role within Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance.
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, spanning IT applications development, or Quality Engineering.
  • Experience managing and maximizing IT vendor partner relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of testing frameworks and practices supporting functional, performance, security, and accessibility testing in a dev/ops culture.
  • Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT Quality Assurance & Guidewire certifications.
  • Experience supporting Commercial Lines.
  • Hands-on expertise with Guidewire PolicyCenter and associated testing patterns and strategies.
