**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, buns, breads, eclairs and other desserts according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet presentation standards.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Package baked goods for sale or service while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings and seasonal specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned after use.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends in pastry arts to continuously improve skills and offerings.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety practices.
- Experience with cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of baked goods for service.
- A passion for creating high-quality desserts that exceed guest expectations is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
